I know that this is a big file and yes I could have put more
activities in but you don't need to wait all day for a download. I
discovered that movie clips are way for students to investigate for more
information. So, I put in EXPLORE buttons and EXIT
buttons to see information not on the page. It adds interest but easy
to confuse the user. I also added movie clips that don't have the EXPLORE buttons and EXIT buttons - On these it's the Start - Back - Begin buttons.
On the menu page if you see a two after the culture then there's 2
pages. I put a timeline on each culture so when they appear and end
there is bar that flashes (might be annoying), but lets students know

The
Uffizi was designed by Giorgio Vasari in 1560 for Cosimo I de'Medici to
house the Granducal Magistratures of Tuscany. Over time, the top floor
loggia became an exhibition of the dynastic collection of ancient
sculpture, artwork and artifacts.
The eastern wing of the building
incorporated the ancient Florentine church of San Pier Scheraggio and
the wing to the west connected with two existing buildings, the Mint and
the Loggia dei Lanzi. Vasari conceived an architectural module to be
repeated all along the building: a portico flanked by two pillars, with
niches on the ground floor and three windows on the upper story.
In
1565, on the occasion of the marriage of his son Francesco to Giovanna
d'Austria, Cosimo I asked Vasari to design a raised passageway
connecting Palazzo Vecchio with Palazzo Pitti, the new residence of the
family. The passage starts from the government palace, Palazzo Vecchio,
goes through the Uffizi, then runs parallel to the river above a portico
and crosses over the Ponte Vecchio. The Corridor continues through the
facade of the church of Santa Felicita to reach the Boboli Gardens.

Wagner and What's Opera Doc?
What's Opera Doc - What's Opera Doc More Romantic music from the Romantic Composers. Richard Wagner and the movie clip from Warner Bros. cartoon "What's Opera Doc?" What's
Opera Doc was directed by Chuck Jones for Warner Bros. Cartoons. The
Michael Maltese story features Elmer Fudd chasing Bugs Bunny through a
operatic parody of 19th century classical composer Richard Wagner’s
operas, particularly Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung)
and Tannhäuser.
Pretty Woman - Verdi's Opera - La travista
Verdi's Opera with Pretty Woman - Verd's Opera with Pretty Woman Add this video clip to your study of Romantic Music and watch the opera
"La traviata" using the "Pretty Woman" movie. Sometimes opera can be
interesting. Edward (Richard Gere) leaves work early the next day and takes a breath-taking Vivian (Julia Roberts)
on a date to the opera in San Francisco in his private jet. She is
clearly moved by the opera (which is La Traviata, whose plot deals with a rich man tragically falling in love with a courtesan).
More Romantic Music to add to your study of famous composers. Use the
Bugs Bunny cartoon clip to play the Hungarian Rhapsody. Friz Freleng used this piece in Warner Brothers Rhapsody Rabbit, which featured Bugs Bunny
as a concert pianist playing the solo piano version. This film was
clearly inspired by its first use in 1929 because many of the gags are
similar. However, controversy followed this short's release.
